Educational partnership with Heynlinschule continues

IMO Oberflächentechnik GmbH is continuing its long-standing educational partnership with Heynlinschule in Königsbach-Stein this year. At the end of November, 42 pupils at the Werksrealschule secondary school received USB sticks to support the two eighth-grade classes on their way into working life. The key-shaped sticks not only serve as storage for application documents, but are also intended to symbolically open the ‘door’ to a successful professional future.

In line with the current curriculum in the subject WBS (economics, career and study orientation), IMO training manager Hubert Maisenbacher provided the eighth-graders with important information for a successful application. Among other things, he explained what is important in the application process and in which areas it is possible to start a career at IMO. In this context, he presented the individual apprenticeship professions – from surface coater to machine and plant operator to warehouse logistics specialist. Following the presentation, the pupils from both classes showed great interest and asked various questions about the application process and the individual apprenticeship professions.
