In mid-June, the stamping industry gathered in Pforzheim for the eighth time. More than 130 exhibitors showcased their products, solutions and services across an area of around 4,000 m². At the IMO stand, we used the three days of the trade fair to engage in in-depth and personal discussions with our customers. Particularly given the current challenging economic climate, the focus was not only on ongoing projects but also on the technological, economic and environmental challenges of the coming years. Discussions also centred on how small and medium-sized enterprises can remain internationally competitive within their supply chains, safeguard their innovative strength and continue to grow their market share.
Stanztec impressed with its compact layout, high-quality discussions and short distances. Within a small space, we were able to meet numerous key customers and hold valuable discussions. The general mood in the industry is fundamentally positive – many companies have now moved beyond the phase of short-time working. At the same time, however, the outlook for the future remains cautious, as reliable forecasts are still difficult to make.
