IMO’s surface finishing technology is the most advanced worldwide. This gives IMO an advantage of knowledge allowing us to give customers optimal advice at the early stages of development. IMO owes this more than ultra-thin competitive edge above all to their staff with many years of experience, with the senior staff leading the way. To stay one step ahead, a company needs foresight, the right touch for new developments and comprehensive know-how. These are our strengths. We can draw on know-how and experience that extend far beyond providing surface coating services. Our research and development team uses these assets to create innovative, eco-friendly top-of-the-line technologies, working quickly and without information losses and setting new standards time and time again. This enables us to offer high-value solutions to our customers fast and in perfect alignment with each customer’s individual requirements. Our solutions offer outstanding value for money and provide high selectivity in plating. In addition, they allow the cost-effective surface finishing of parts with complex and difficult geometries.
IMO is well aware of its special responsibility towards the environment. This entrepreneurial responsibility has an effect on all elements of its business strategy. To unite ecology and economy is therefore not simply idle talk but expressed in the fact that only the latest methods are used in our electroplating plants. Apart from that, we work to increase the staff’s awareness in respect of energy saving. All trainees are taught responsible handling of natural resources right from the beginning of their professional future. Precious ecological behaviour takes care of sustainable creation of value. It is not for nothing that IMO is one of the few companies in its sector that is certified as per ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001. This commitment has already been confirmed on several occasions by the Environmental Prize awarded by the Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the Environmental Prize awarded by the Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw, the award honouring us as the Highlight of Economy and last but not least the nomination for the Industry Award 2012 at the Hannover Trade Fair.
