IMO is well aware of its special responsibility towards the environment. This entrepreneurial responsibility has an effect on all elements of its business strategy. To unite ecology and economy is therefore not simply idle talk but expressed in the fact that only the latest methods are used in our electroplating plants. Apart from that, we work to increase the staff’s awareness in respect of energy saving. All trainees are taught responsible handling of natural resources right from the beginning of their professional future. Precious ecological behaviour takes care of sustainable creation of value. It is not for nothing that IMO is one of the few companies in its sector that is certified as per ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001. This commitment has already been confirmed on several occasions by the Environmental Prize awarded by the Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the Environmental Prize awarded by the Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw, the award honouring us as the Highlight of Economy and last but not least the nomination for the Industry Award 2012 at the Hannover Trade Fair.
