Tina Schroth macht bei IMO eine Ausbildung zur Oberflächenbeschichterin im ersten Lehrjahr und fungiert seit Kurzem auch als Ausbildungsbotschafterin für den WSP Wirtschaft- und Stadtmarketing Pforzheim. Mit der Kampagne „Genau mein Ding“ wird sie mit vier weiteren Azubis aus der metallverarbeitenden Industrie für die nächsten drei Jahre die Werbetrommel rühren, um dem Fachkräftemangel entgegenzuwirken und Nachwuchs für diese Branche zu gewinnen.

When a group of pupils, kitted out in wellies and armed with landing nets, are out and about in the Kämpfelbach in the Allmendwiesen, it means the Ökomobil is visiting IMO once again. Pupils from the Heynlin School had the opportunity to explore the ‘stream’ habitat under the guidance of biologist Juliane Zimmermann.
In mid-June, the stamping industry gathered in Pforzheim for the eighth time. More than 130 exhibitors showcased their products, solutions and services across an area of around 4,000 m². At the IMO stand, we used the three days of the trade fair to engage in in-depth and personal discussions with our customers.
On the nationwide Girls’ Day 2026, we at IMO also opened our doors to interested female students and gave them the opportunity to get an up-close look at our company and the world of work — in our case, the profession of surface coater.
