Im Rahmen des Girls‘ Day am Donnerstag, 25. April, können Mädchen einen Einblick in sogenannte „Männerberufe“ erhalten. Bundesweit sind Unternehmen aus Forschung, Industrie, Informatik, Technik, Wissenschaft und Handwerk dabei. Am Girls’Day lernen Mädchen Berufe oder Studienfächer kennen, in denen der Frauenanteil unter 40 Prozent liegt, z. B. in den Bereichen IT, Handwerk, Naturwissenschaften und Technik.
Auch IMO ist dabei und hat speziell für diesen Tag wieder ein abwechslungsreiches Programm zusammengestellt. Wir freuen uns auf zwei Girls, die Einblicke in unsere Produktion erhalten.

When a group of pupils, kitted out in wellies and armed with landing nets, are out and about in the Kämpfelbach in the Allmendwiesen, it means the Ökomobil is visiting IMO once again. Pupils from the Heynlin School had the opportunity to explore the ‘stream’ habitat under the guidance of biologist Juliane Zimmermann.
In mid-June, the stamping industry gathered in Pforzheim for the eighth time. More than 130 exhibitors showcased their products, solutions and services across an area of around 4,000 m². At the IMO stand, we used the three days of the trade fair to engage in in-depth and personal discussions with our customers.
On the nationwide Girls’ Day 2026, we at IMO also opened our doors to interested female students and gave them the opportunity to get an up-close look at our company and the world of work — in our case, the profession of surface coater.
