The largest facilities at one location
IMO can look back on more than 40 years of company history. The family business strategy of success: a constant preparedness for technical and enterprising change. This strategy is what is driving IMO to this day and will be THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND DECISIONS FOR TOMMOROW.
IMO's surface finishing technology is the most advanced worldwide. This gives IMO an advantage of knowledge allowing us to give customers optimal advice at the early stages of development.
IMO owes this more than ultra-thin competitive edge above all to their staff with many years of experience, with the senior staff leading the way. These act as a model at all times and earn their recognition through integrity and credibility. They set high standards and are willing to be judged by the same measures. The new culture of leadership makes IMO a sought after employer far beyond the region's borders.

IMO belongs to the small elite boasting a quality management system that meets the high requirements of the automotive industry. This means that the quality management system observes the strict guidelines meeting the international technical IATF 16949 standard. Owner of this certificate is Müller Spot Plating GmbH.
In order to permanently guarantee this high level, quality-related characteristics are already determined during the enquiry stage. This quality standard is consistently maintained during production by preventative maintenance of all plants and constant control of all chemicals and baths in our in-house chemical analytical laboratory. In addition, computer-aided production lines as well as innovative technologies are applied and at the same time ensure consistent plating quality by monitoring the electroplating method.
Continuous control of refined layers is achieved with the help of state-of-the-art measuring and testing equipment such as layer thickness measuring instruments based on X-ray fluorescent analysis, wetting balances for solderability tests, micro processor controlled wire bonders and pull and shear testers.
We are working consistently on an economically profitable and ecologically sensible development for our company. The conservation of natural resources, saving of water and the reduction of chemicals constitute important contributions to sustainability.
IMO is well aware of its special responsibility towards the environment. This entrepreneurial responsibility has an effect on all elements of its business strategy.
To unite ecology and economy is therefore not simply idle talk but expressed in the fact that only the latest methods are used in our electroplating plants. Apart from that, we work to increase the staff's awareness in respect of energy saving.
All trainees are taught responsible handling of natural resources right from the beginning of their professional future.
Precious ecological behaviour takes care of sustainable creation of value.
It is not for nothing that IMO is the only company in its sector that is certified as per ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
This commitment has already been confirmed on several occasions by the Environmental Prize awarded by the Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the Environmental Prize awarded by the Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw, the award honouring us as the Highlight of Economy and last but not least the nomination for the Industry Award 2012 at the Hannover Trade Fair.
